March is the month your room needs a little refresh. The winter board has done its job (it’s been up since January, we both know it), and spring is finally on the way.
So here are my fave March bulletin board ideas: a few for St. Patrick’s Day, a few for spring, and a few for Easter, since it lands at the end of March this year.
Here’s what I looked for when picking these March bulletin board ideas:
- Quick to prep, because report cards are probably due soon
- Cute AND put together, with colours that actually go with your room
- A mix of boards you put up once and boards your students fill in
My Fave March Bulletin Board Ideas
1. A St. Patrick’s Day Goose Bulletin Board
Your classroom goose gets his lucky outfit for March. The same pieces work as a bulletin board or a door, so put it wherever you want (or do both if you’re feeling extra).

2. A Lucky Charms Composition Notebook Board & Door
This is the composition notebook version, with a Lucky Charms twist. If your room is notebook themed, this one slides right in next to the rest of your seasonal notebook sets.

3. A Shamrock Writing Craft Board
This is my “Feeling Lucky & Grateful” board. Students write what they’re grateful for on their shamrocks, and the shamrocks become the board. It’s a writing activity AND your bulletin board, which is the kind of March bulletin board ideas I like best.

4. A Rainbow & Shamrock St. Patrick’s Day Bulletin Board
Want a quick St. Patrick’s Day board? This rainbow and shamrock one is all set up for you to print and put up. Easy.

5. A Spring Goose Bulletin Board
Once March 17 is over, the goose switches into spring mode. This is the one to put up when you want the board to stay until April.

6. A Spring Composition Notebook Board & Door
Same idea for notebook classrooms. Fresh spring cover, same look as the rest of your notebook decor, so the room still feels matchy-matchy.

7. A Butterfly and Floral Spring Board
If you want spring without a mascot, this kit has butterflies and florals for your board and your door. Soft and pretty.

8. An Easter Goose or Notebook Board
Easter is March 28 this year, so your Easter board can go up the week before spring break. Pick the goose or the notebook version, depending on your theme.

9. An Easter Peeps Board
Peeps! This is my “Peep Our Hard Work” board. Students make an Easter egg or Peep craft with writing, and their work fills the board. Teaching at a Catholic school? My “He Is Risen” Catholic Easter craft & bulletin board is another good one for the week before Easter.

10. An Easter Dog Bulletin Board
Okay, these Easter pups are my fave. They’re so cute on a bulletin board or your door, and they can stay up right through April.

So, Which of These March Bulletin Board Ideas Will You Start With?
If you want one board for the whole month, go with the spring goose or the spring notebook. They work from the first day of March until April.
If you love a seasonal swap, start with St. Patrick’s Day and switch to Easter at the end of the month.
