February is a short month with a LOT packed into it. Valentine’s Day, Random Acts of Kindness Week, and Pink Shirt Day if you’re in Canada.
That’s a lot of reasons to change your board. So I rounded up my fave February bulletin board ideas, all ones you can print, prep and put up fast.
Here’s what I looked for when picking these February bulletin board ideas:
- They look cute AND put together
- Most of them can stay up from Valentine’s Day to the end of the month
- Students can add to a lot of them, so your board fills itself (go you)
My Fave February Bulletin Board Ideas
1. A Valentine’s Day Goose Bulletin Board
If you have a classroom goose, this is the obvious pick. The goose gets his Valentine’s accessory, and the same pieces work as a bulletin board or a door, so put it wherever you want.
It’s literally so cute, and it’s an easy swap if your goose has already been up for winter or the New Year.

2. A Valentine’s Composition Notebook Board & Door
Composition notebook classroom? Your notebook gets a Valentine’s cover. It goes up on the door or your bulletin board, and it matches the rest of the notebook seasonal sets, so you’re not starting from scratch every month.

3. A Conversation Hearts Kindness Board
This one is a writing activity AND your bulletin board. Students write kind messages on candy hearts, then they all go up together.
It’s one of my fave February bulletin board ideas because it’s so sweet. Plus your students get to read nice things about each other all month.

4. A Valentine’s Collaborative Poster
Need a board by Friday? Try a collaborative poster. Each student colours one piece, you put them together, and you have a big, bright Valentine’s board that everyone helped make.
This one is a disco ball heart that says “You make the whole class shimmer.” Swifties in your class will lose it. (Okay, you might too.)

5. A Random Acts of Kindness Week Board
Random Acts of Kindness Week falls in February, so this board gives the whole class a challenge to work on together. Every kind act gets added to the board, and students can see the kindness piling up.

Want more kindness for the month? My Kindness Challenge secret missions pair really well with this board.
6. A Pink Shirt Day Board
If you teach in Canada, Pink Shirt Day is at the end of February, and this set comes with writing, a craft and a bulletin board, so your anti-bullying lesson and your board are sorted in one go.

7. A Taylor Swift Valentine’s Bulletin Board
Got a class full of Swifties? This one is for them. It’s made for February, so it can go up before Valentine’s Day and stay up all month, on your bulletin board or your door.
It also pairs really well with the shimmer poster from idea 4. Put one on the board and one on the door and you’re done.

Bonus: A Valentine’s Day Mailbox Bag Craft
Okay, this one isn’t a bulletin board. But if you’re doing a Valentine’s card exchange, your students need somewhere to put all those cards. This craft turns a plain paper bag into a cute Valentine’s mailbox, and it’s one of my most popular Valentine’s resources.
Line them up under your board before the big day and they double as decor.

So, Which of These February Bulletin Board Ideas Is Going Up First?
If you want one board that lasts all month, go with the goose or the notebook. Those two match the rest of their seasonal sets, so your room still looks put together when you switch them in March.
If you want students to do the work (smart), pick the candy hearts or the collaborative poster.
Still have your winter board up? No judgement. Here are my January bulletin board ideas that can stay up until spring.
