You’ve probably heard that the secret to writing positive report card comments is to use the sandwich method. In case you’re not familiar with this concept, it involves sharing students’ strengths before and after the things they are having difficulties with.

This blog post will help you write positive report card comments. This list might be especially helpful if you’ve had a particularly difficult week with a certain student. Coming up with positive report card comments can be tricky.

NAME demonstrates a good work ethic that supports PRONOUN in regularly completing assignments on time. 

Work Completion

NAME generally completes PRONOUN class work on time. Overall, PRONOUN meets deadlines and demonstrates a commitment to completing assignments.

Quality of Work

NAME generally produces high-quality work. Occasionally, revision may be necessary, but overall, PRONOUN submits work that reflects her full potential.

NAME demonstrates a love for learning by being open to learning new things. PRONOUN approaches most tasks or concepts with interest and curiosity.
